How we calculate
Where every number comes from, how it's checked, and what we will never do.
Planet positions come from NASA JPL's DE440 ephemeris — the same data space agencies use — calculated for your exact time and town.
Sunrise, sunset and every muhurta are worked out for your own location, not a fixed city.
Sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsha — India's official standard.
Lunar months follow the same rules as Drik Panchang, including Adhika Masa. Choose Purnimanta, Amanta or your regional solar calendar.
Vimshottari Dasha, Shadbala, Ashtakavarga, Gochara with Vedha, and Ashtakoota matching are computed directly — not guessed by AI.
Over 2,700 automated tests check the calculations, including against Swiss Ephemeris reference values.
The AI astrologer only explains results that come from these calculations — it is not allowed to invent placements or timings.
Some festivals are observed on different days by different traditions; we flag those dates.
An exact birth time matters — even a few minutes can change the ascendant.
Astrology describes tendencies and timing, never certainties.
Use fear to sell you a remedy, puja or gemstone.
Give medical, legal or financial advice dressed up as astrology.
If you're going through something serious, please reach out: Tele-MANAS 14416 (free, 24x7) or 112.
Birth details and chats are personal. We never sell them.
