Birth Time Rectification

Most birth times are rounded or remembered: "around six in the morning". The lagna moves a degree every four minutes and the Navamsa lagna changes about every 13, so a small error changes the houses and the timing. Rectification works backwards from your life: the right birth time is the one whose chart times the events that actually happened.

Enter your birth details and a few dated events: marriage, the birth of children, a first job or promotion, starting a business, moving city or abroad, a parent's passing. Astromaan recasts the chart for every minute in the window and scores each event by the dasha running then, the divisional chart and the transits. You see the best time, how far ahead it is of the next-best chart, and why.

Rectification is evidence, not proof. Three or more events with exact dates work best; use the result only when its confidence is medium or high.

What is birth time rectification?

Finding the most likely birth time by testing candidate times against dated events in a person's life. The time whose chart best explains those events is taken as the corrected birth time.

How many life events do I need?

At least three with an exact date or month. One or two events cannot separate candidate times, because almost any chart can explain a single event.

Which events work best?

Events with clear dates and strong astrological signatures: marriage, the birth of a child, starting a job or business, moving abroad, and a parent's passing.

Can rectification be wrong?

Yes. It ranks candidate times by how well each explains your events, and reports a confidence. A documented time from a birth certificate, hospital record or janam patri is always better.
